Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do you send samples?

A: No, we do not send out samples any smaller than our minimum order. We do have 3rd party verification of our feminization % on all seed lots, as well as COA's that we can provide to you upon request that document the CBD levels and THC compliance.

Q: Do you ship to all states?

A: Each state has its own set of rules and regulations as far as seed importation goes. Some states, such as MT, require AOSCA certified seed, and since domestic hemp seed has only been legal since December of 2018, ours is not AOSCA certified yet. Check your state laws.

Also, we have distribution partners in several other states, so we pass any orders in those states along to them. Contact us and we will point you in the right direction. All orders in Colorado and Kentucky, as well as the east coast are through our friends at HGH Seed, Inc. Their website is hghseed.com

Q: Do you ship internationally?

A: With the passing of the 2018 Farm bill, we are legally able to export seed to anywhere that will allow non-certified seed varieties. That being said, we have not done so yet, and are still working on how to get an export permit for industrial hemp seed to other countries.

Q: What should my planting rate be?

A: We have experimented with many different planting rates, and it largely depends on your weather and harvest methods. If you live in a very arid climate, we have seen rates of 5,800 per acre work very well (30" row centers, 3' in-row spacing). The traditional recommendation is closer to 2,000 plants per acre (5'- 6' row centers). If you are harvesting with a silage chopper or combine, we recommend planting tighter, as the stems stay smaller, and you have a larger bud to stem ratio in your final product, which equals higher CBD% in the silage bales if you are harvesting that way.
